Eolia Renovables is managed by N+1 Eolia S.G.E.C.R., S.A. (N+1 Eolia). N+1 is one of the premier entities in its class in Spain, devoted exclusively to managing renewable energy projects. N+1 Eolia is majority-owned by the N+1 Group and has as main shareholders to Indigo Energías Renovables, BBK, Fonditel and Bankinter Group. The company was incorporated on February 24, 2005 and registered in the Administrative Registry of the Spanish Securities and Exchange Commission (CNMV) on April 29, 2005 under number 43. 

The N+1 management team has a proven professional track record in the renewable energy field, having managed two pioneering funds in the renewable energy sector, Eolia Mistral (2005, currently named Mistral Biocombustibles) and Eolia Gregal (2006) which were contributed to Eolia Renovables when the latter was incorporated in 2007.

Within N+1 Eolia’s professional track record, it is worth highlighting its investment in over 50 wind and photovoltaic solar projects, having analysed more than 150 investment opportunities in various European countries. The N+1 management team has also negotiated over 900 MW in turnkey contracts or contracts for the supply of wind turbine generators and solar panels and secured non-recourse financing in the excess of €1.2bn, establishing solid relationships with Spanish leading financial institutions.

N+1 Eolia has managed to either commission or register the majority of the pipeline contributed to Eolia Renovables upon incorporation. Registration in the Pre-assignment registry guarantees the prevailing tariff contemplated in RD 661/2007.
