The assets held by Eolia Renovables cover electricity generation farms that use renewable sources – wind power, primarily, but also photovoltaic solar – both in Spain and in other countries of the European Union as well as in Canada.
The company currently has a balanced portfolio of wind and solar assets amounting to 824 MW.
During 2012 the company put under operation 152 MW, which reveals that Eolia Renovables has launched the entire wind power portfolio in the prescribed period so that they can all be ascribed to the RD 661/2007 and have the right to receive the premium fixed in it.To the above we have to add 217 MW of wind which have been acquired since then.
Also, Eolia Renovables has a photovoltaic solar portfolio which consists of thirteen operating plants with a cumulative attributable capacity of 75 MW, which are also subject to Royal Decree 661/2007 and its premium, reveals the strong portfolio company .
Moreover, Eolia has arranged the sale of its portfolio of wind farms in Mexico (324 MW) to a subsidiary of EDF Energies Nouvelles, France and Poland, Canada and Germany.
